Behind the name - discover the meaning or English equivalents of world names.

I came upon this website while looking for one of my pupil’s  name. He wanted to know how to say his name in English. We also looked at what his friends would be called in Bulgarian. He loved that his Dad Ivan was John!

You can find equivalents and meanings of names from most world languages and from history. So interesting for pupils to see their names and meanings.
